ABOUT “THE HOUSE WE KEEP.”
At the heart of this film is a father and son sitting down for a conversation about their family home. The father is preparing to sell the house. His son strongly disagrees. But beneath that disagreement is something much deeper: grief, memories, love, loss, and the difficulty of letting go.
The father has carried the weight of losing his wife years ago, while his son has held tightly to the home and everything it represents. What begins as a disagreement becomes a raw and honest conversation about what it means to love someone—even when you don’t understand their choices.
Sometimes the most transformative moments don’t happen in grand places. They happen across a kitchen table, in a living room, or during one conversation we’ve been avoiding for years.
